Thailand has an official national lottery that is drawn twice a month. Officially known as the Thai Lottery, the lottery is administered by The Government Lottery Office. It is one of the only two forms of gambling legal in the country. เลขแม่นขั้นเทพ is horse racing, which takes place in the capital city.
The Thai lottery is a state-run lottery that anyone can play. As a result, the prizes aren’t available for withdrawal from a bank and the winners must come to the GLO office in Bangkok to collect their prizes. Despite the fact that the lottery is held twice a month, winners are only able to claim their prizes once.
The first prize is B30 million. There are also แม่นมากขั้นเทพ and third prizes of up to ten million baht, as well as bonuses. The smallest prize is B1,000 for a lucky ticket holder. In the past, the “jackpot” prizes were B30 million and B22 million, but the military government has changed the lottery to eliminate these optimal amounts.
After winning the lottery, winners must claim their prize within two years from the draw date. They must pay 0.5% tax to their local lottery agent. If their tickets cost less than 20,000 baht, they can claim their prizes in cash.
